Half of 2017 has passed, and it’s time to welcome the full heat of summer. The Fourth of July is just around the corner, and here to help say goodbye to June this weekend are Kai Wachi, SKisM, Zomboy and more, who will be ringing in the new month in proper fashion at Bassrush Weekender in LA. Speaking of heat and Zomboy, we’re excited to bring some with this week’s picks, with a bass-heavy banger from Zomboy himself, a unique witch-house-infused trap offering from LEViT∆TE, a bass house remix from Kyle Watson, and something a little different and hauntingly beautiful from beloved bass vocalist Laura Brehm. Hydraulix dishes out some of his best fusion trap to date, and Jewel Tones marries indie rock with electronic elements and his own vocals in “Worth”.
