We have added a simplified way to host your Podcasts/DJ Mixes on Label Engine.
As a Promotion subscriber or Premium Distribution user, you will get access to this new feature that sure comes handy to help promote your music, your label and your artists at no additional cost.
To get started, click on the “Podcasts” tab under the “Promotion” menu, you will see a list of current eligible labels/companies and next to it is the “Create A Podcast” link. Once you click on it, you will be able to enter all the information regarding the podcast or show (Title, Subtitle, Summary/Description, Website link, copyright info) and upload a cover artwork for it (Must be square and a minimum of 1400 x 1400).
Once you have your podcast all set up, you can start adding episodes to it. Click on the “Add an episode” link and follow the instructions. You will need to enter some basic information necessary in case you wish to also have the podcast available on iTunes (Title, subtitle, author, summary/tracklist, keywords, date and whether it contains explicit music or not). You can upload the mp3 of your podcast through the browser or using our repository/FTP option, you can find the instructions for the FTP under the “HELP” menu.
Once you have episodes available you can switch the podcast online (Online: Yes) and it will automatically generate an RSS feed to share the podcast on iTunes. Alternatively you can also link fans to listen to it on your own dedicated page (for example: http://bigfish.label-engine.com/podcast), which you can customize to match the branding you desire.
