Happy Holidays!
As the 2017 holiday season draws near, many of our store partners have issued notices about content ingestion freezes that will be occurring from December until the beginning of January. If you plan on releasing material through the end of 2017, please note the following important deadlines for distribution submission. During this time we will not be able to accommodate any release ingestion, updates, takedowns, or other adjustments.
Friday, December 8, 2017 will be the last date to submit releases for distribution scheduled for release on any platform from Monday, December 11, 2017 through Friday, January 5, 2018.
Beginning Friday, November 24, 2017, all Apple Music/iTunes releases should be submitted for distribution at least two weeks ahead of release date. (Normal one week lead times will resume on Friday, January 5, 2018.)
In addition to these deadlines, please note that many stores and the Label Engine office will also have limited staff available from December 23, 2017 to January 2, 2018, so there may be delays in support tickets.
