On the 6th of September 2020 we sent the “August 2020 Royalty Report” to our distribution clients. Within the report, you may have noticed a line item for ‘Previous Balance’. This previous balance represented payments for Spotify June 2020 and Tidal June 2020 earnings. The August 2020 Royalty Report unfortunately did not contain royalty data within the downloadable CSV for these reports, as it had not completed processing at the time they were sent out.
On the 12th of September we sent out a statement titled “August 2020 Royalty Report – Update”. The purpose of this statement was to provide you with the royalty data and downloadable CSV for the Spotify June 2020 and Tidal June 2020 earnings. As you had already received a statement containing these earnings previously (the ‘Previous Balance’ line of your August 2020 Royalty Report), no additional payment was due and the balance of the statement was $0.00.
Please note that there will not be an additional royalty report this month as the Spotify revenue that is usually provided later was already provided to you within these two statements.
