As you may know (the rumor has been going around for weeks) Apple and Beats have finally officially announced an acquisition. Apple will acquire Beats/Beats Music for 3 Billion Dollars.
We received an email from the Director of Business and Label relations over at Beats Music confirming it. It’s unclear how it will affect (or not) our direct deal with them.

As you may also know we signed a deal with the store several months ago but it has been a slow process setting it up live because they use third party company “MediaNet” for content ingestion.
