We are very pleased to share a new development from one of our store partners, Beatport, that many of you may find to be a useful tool for further exposure and discovery of your label. Recently announced, Beatport’s brand new Beatport Hype system will “showcase the best boutique labels in the world”. This system is designed to maximize exposure and provide alternative promotional outlets for developing labels to reach a wider audience.
Interested labels that meet Beatport Hype eligibility standards (annual income of less than $3,000 USD in the preceding 12 months) will have the opportunity to opt-in to the service for a low $10/month subscription fee. While the current trail period is active (through mid-September), all eligible labels are automatically enrolled for free! In addition, all eligible Label Engine users will be shown a notification upon logging into their accounts stating which of their labels are eligible. As a Hype member, your label’s releases will be in the running to be included in the Beatport Hype 100 charts and considered for special feature placement on Hype banners and new release tiles in many of Beatport’s top genres: Techno, Tech House, House, Deep House, Drum & Bass, Melodic House & Techno, Minimal/Deep Tech, Progressive House, Trance, and Psy-trance.
