Youtube’s new subscription service now known as “Youtube Red” is (finally) available in the United States.
The official announcement, which came October 21st was of no surprise to anyone, rumors around the service had been going on for over a year and it is a great option for those that were hoping for options that would allow them to play their favorite music and videos while offline or in the background.
“Youtube Red” will replace “Youtube Music Key” which was in beta testing roughly for 12 months but thats not all, alongside music offerings the company is also providing access to virtually all content in the platform, ad-free. According to reports from TechCruch, the media giant will also aim to provide exclusive and original content you won’t be able to get access anywhere else.
The subscription service comes with a $9.99 price tag and will work across all your devices (desktop, tablet, phone), it is also bundled with “Google Music Play” which offers a service similar to Spotify and Apple Music.
You can try Youtube Red free for 30 days so if you wish to give it a shot, here is the link https://www.youtube.com/red
Note: If you are a Label Engine distributed user, don’t worry, your music is already available in the platform as part of the “Youtube Music Key” deal.
