The new updates include:<strong> S4A Video Upload Beta Expansion<\/strong> for new artists &amp; markets, <strong>Music Video Pitching Beta<\/strong>, and <strong>Music Video Global Chart.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Spotify is amplifying the natural listening behavior by surfacing tracks with videos more frequently in certain personalized recommendations, to connect the right tracks with the right listeners. Outlined below are the new features and how they can help your artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 style=\"text-transform:uppercase\"><strong><strong><strong>S4A Video Beta Expansion<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Spotify is expanding the Spotify for Artists video upload Beta to thousands of new artists and unlocking Premium audiences across Brazil and Taiwan. New artist and market availability will roll out gradually over two weeks starting July 14. Performance videos and Official Music Videos can be uploaded for both catalog and new releases. Performance videos include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Live recordings<\/li><li>Studio sessions<\/li><li>Acoustic performances<\/li><li>Covers<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Videos distributed alongside music are eligible for high-impact discovery surfaces such as Editorial Playlists, Videos For You, push notifications and mobile home banners. <strong>If your artist does not have access to this feature yet, Label Engine can distribute the music videos on your behalf via this <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/createmusicgroup.typeform.com\/to\/R1sglCe9?typeform-source=createmusic.atlassian.net\"><strong>link<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 style=\"text-transform:uppercase\"><strong><strong><strong>Music Video Pitching<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For the first time, artists and their team can pitch music videos directly to Spotify\u2019s editorial team for playlist consideration. When pitching, it\u2019s important to share your video\u2019s story, including the concept, the mood, the visual style, so your official music and performance videos will reach the right fans through playlists like<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/playlist\/37i9dQZF1DX2Ldddduma5t?si=a2441fa9a3e94f4c\"> Best New Videos<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/playlist\/37i9dQZF1DWWWdKdJYJRbf?si=9087874610d745c2\"> Live Performances<\/a>, and<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/playlist\/37i9dQZF1DX789EFDNJumI?si=ff38d95c018d4747\"> House Party<\/a>. Access to this feature begins July 14 and will roll out gradually to all artists with a music video over the following week.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 style=\"text-transform:uppercase\"><strong>How to Pitch Music Videos:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Navigate to the Video &amp; Visuals tab in S4A on desktop and tap \u201cPitch Your Videos\u201d<\/li><li>Add details such as genre and visual style to help editors better understand your release.<\/li><li>Videos delivered through supply chain or uploaded via S4A are eligible.<\/li><li>Videos must be unreleased or released within the past 7 days to be eligible.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Video and audio pitching are separate &#8211; pitch both for maximum editorial consideration.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 style=\"text-transform:uppercase\"><strong><strong><strong><strong>Music Video Global Chart<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Spotify is introducing their new <strong>Music Video Charts Global<\/strong>, the service\u2019s first chart dedicated entirely to music videos ranked by daily stream count. Fans can discover the top 50 videos across the globe located in the Charts hub and the Video Playlists Browse shelf\/hub.
