Music streaming service Rdio<\/strong> has filed for bankruptcy protection in the U.S. and will be shutting down its doors for good. Pandora, who has been in the radio streaming service for over 15 years has bought “key” components of the soon-to-die company.<\/p>\n

There is still some doubts as to what will happen with pending royalties owed but we have stopped deliveries immediately awaiting further instructions of the next steps to take. We will monitor the situation closely and act accordingly.<\/p>\n

In unrelated but somewhat tied together news, Apple announced it will be shutting down the Beats Music<\/strong> service November 30th, 2015. Naturally, Apple is offering users the opportunity to migrate their preferences and picks to “Apple Music” but users must act fast, on November 30th their subscriptions will be cancelled automatically.<\/p>\n
